Small Georgian Mahogany Pembroke Table

A charming little country house mahogany pembroke table dating the late Georgian period. The table stands on fine turned and fluted legs in the style of Gillows, with the original brass castors. The table has one true drawer and one false, both retain the original ebonised knobs and the main drawer has a working lock. The table top is of pleasing figured mahogany with a satin movement in it. The whole is in typical good country house condition with some marking and staining. The table is of a very pleasing size and would be perfect for the side or back of a sofa. C.1810.
