Large George III Mahogany Birdcage Tripod Table

Description

Large size George 11 / 111 solid mahogany birdcage tripod table. 3 foot diameter one piece solid mahogany top. The base with nice early plain thin turned column with carved decoration to the base and nice shape cabriole legs with shaped feet. The birdcage is all original with small turned columns and allows the top of the table to be turned. The table retains its original brass catch.

Small old repair to the top of the birdcage where the turned dowels go into the bearers.

The table retains its original finish and patination and as such is a lovely mellow colour.
