Dating from Around 1790 In The Georgian Era, This Striking Table has a large one piece beautifully figured top with pie crust moulded edge with tilting mechanism and unusual bird cage mechanism which allows the top to revolve on the base. This splendid table stands on an elegant turned pedestal with tripod splayed legs and pad feet. The top does have the usual character marks however this does not detract from its overall beauty, it just adds to the charm of this antique piece and the mahogany is a rich shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
