It has a beautifully figured top with two drop leaves with an ebony banded edge above one working drawer and one faux drawer on both sides so may be placed in the centre of a room if so desired. This elegant table stands on splayed legs with brass cup castors and has a beautifully turned cross stretcher. This characterful table has the usual old repairs consistent with age and use, giving great character and authenticity and the mahogany has aged to a rich shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
