This pleasing GEORGIAN COUNTRY PINE CRICKET/TAVERN TABLE dates from circa 1820.

It is full of character, replete with the local blacksmith's metal strapping and a metal edge to the table rim. The TABLE'S two hundred year old history is there for all to see, and is all the better for it. Traces of old paint and pegged construction can be seen.

For all its appearance, the TABLE is sturdy and appears not to have been restored or cleaned for many years.
