George III Mahogany D Shaped Card Table

18th century
Description

Late 18th to early 19th century George III mahogany and inlaid D shape card table. Nice shape thin turned legs. The base of the table is inlaid with various fancy boxwood and ebony lines with a rosewood inlaid square to the top of the legs. The edges of the tops are cross banded in mahogany with a boxwood line top and bottom. The top is double banded in satinwood and kingwood. Green baize inside. The table is double gated at the back therefore both legs swing round when the table is open.

There is a slight hairline crack to the top but it is hardly noticeable otherwise the table is in pretty good shape.
