Fine "Metamorphic" Sewing & Games Table

Description

A pretty Regency mahogany Lady's SEWING/READING & GAMES TABLE in fine condition.

After a model by Morgan & Sanders, it features a leather-covered sliding top with adjustable easel; backgammon well; sliding inlaid chessboard; twin side drawers; hinged flaps and a silk-pleated sewing drawer below. It is supported on a "U" shaped under tier, and a short column with four sabre legs and original castors.
