An attractive and rare piece. Papier mache and wood construction.
Solid, with no loose joints or wobbles. No woodworm.

Some decoration imperfections and lacquer crazing, as one would expect. Signs of some restoration and refinishing. No keys and the lock is untested. The satin linings are a little homespun, old and worn.
