Farmhouse Refectory Oak Dining Table Seats Eight. Circa 1800

Description

We are pleased to offer this farmhouse kitchen /dining table which accommodates eight comfortably.

The whole table is pegged and dowelled with a fixed top .

There are obvious signs of wear and tear which would be expected for a table of this period so if you are looking for perfection this one is probably not for you.

The table has only been given only one wax polish and will only improve in colour and patina with further care.

We have purposely left the hole in the top caused by the 'knot' of the wood . I think this could be a talking point or alternatively we could get our cabinet maker to insert a dowel which will not be seen.

The table measure 81 ins long 29.5 ins high and 33 ins wide.
