Description

A very unusual and good quality 19th Century mahogany metamorphic side, sofa or serving table which easily converts to a Bagatelle games table. Of stretcher table form having good quality applied decorative carvings, scroll feet and turned patrae which cross stretcher. The top frieze with carved "C" scroll decoration of which 2 are pull out slides for drinks etc. The Bagatelle section slides on the base and folds over to reveal the original baize lined games table. There are scoreboards on either side and corner buffers which are inserted when the game is in use. This superb games table is complete with original ivory balls, cues and working lock and key.
