A good quality Georgian Cuban Mahogany tripod tilt top table. The table has the most wonderful faded patina to the top and deep rich colour to the base that only happens when Georgian furniture has been used for two hundred years and simply left alone, as such the top has many marks, water stains, blotches etc. To preserve the colour and untouched nature of the table it has not been refinished to remove these marks and is only suitable for those who are happy to have a marked table because of a love of the antique patina. The table stands on typical pad feet with a nicely shaped and rounded leg. The central baluster column has a nice subtle turning to it and the top is in two solid pieces. C.1780.
