Carse Antiques has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
The table stands on four large turned and reeded design legs with original brass castors. The under carriage works smoothly with no wear and there is very little sag in the middle when fully extended. We have the original winding handle. At one end of the table under the top on the frieze there is a brass and bone servants bell which is a nice feature.

The table has an inlaid round bone disk at both ends with the makers name and address on one and the table type and number on the other.
This table would seat 12 to 14 easily.
SIZE; 54" wide by 12 foot long when fully extended. 29 1/2" from ground to eating height.
CIRCA; 1880 - 1890
