The table smoothly extends from 5ft to 8ft by means of a winding mechanism allowing it to seat 8 to 10 people if using both leaves and the leaves slot together with a tongue and groove to the edges (a higher quality finish than the usual peg and holes). Recently repolished and rewaxed but still showing signs of age and use, with a good deep honey oak colour to the top and legs it comes with a winder handle.
