Quiet Street Antiques of Bath has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
It is supported on an octagonal section central column leading to a triform base and "Rigby" carved feet with original concealed castors. 53ins wide 29.5ins high. (135 x 75cms).
As with most Gillows pieces, this table is not stamped but its sheer quality and many of its features can be found illustrated in "Gillows of Lancaster and London" by Susan E. Stuart.
