Waring and Gillows Edwardian Antique Mahogany Extending Dining Table

Constructed by the Renowned Makers Waring and Gillows, This Edwardian Antique Extending Dining Table dates from around 1900. It has a beautifully figured top with reeded

edge and central removable leaf that can be extended using the pull out action. Each leg has a beautifully carved motif, reeded and tapering with spade feet and brass castors. This super table has minor character marks but overall in good condition and would easily accommodate six dinner guests. The mahogany has aged to a warm medium shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.

Approximate Dimensions are:

Height: 76 cm / 30 inches

Width: 106 cm / 42 inches

Length : 141 cm / 55.5 inches ( closed )

Length: 182 cm / 71.5 inches ( extended )
