Presented in 'as found' original country-house condition with some evidence of over-painting or paint 'refreshment' to the scheme of the 'stone' coloured frame with some parcel gilding .
Stylish and flamboyant rococo design with a large shell-like central decoration, raised on a twin-legged splayed central support with scrolled feet , designed to be supported by fixing to a wall .

Some minor historic repairs , but complete with no losses .
The loose, shaped ,apparently original figured and variegated marble top, with moulded detail to the leading edge.
