Description

Victorian Figured Walnut Circular Tilt Top Pedestal Tripod Centre Table. The top having 3 angled inlays joined by boxwood stringing. The half round moulded edge over shallow apron having chamfered kigwood cross banded edge also having 3 scrolled shaped panels with kingwood inlaid thumb mouldings. The top sitting on mahogany block with brass screws and handled holder clip. The hexagon tapered pedestal having alternate appliques and kingwood inlaid thumb mouldings all sitting below shaped lappets also having leaf carved base sitting on turned collar. The tripod cabriole legs having leaf carved knees with inset carved scrolls to sides moulded tops running into scrolled toes on castors. A carved melon shaped central drop between the legs.
