Description

A superb quality serpentine shaped French work table by Tahan of Rue de la Paix 30 in Paris. The cross banded and inlaid top with a fine marquetry panel of butterflies and flowers. The lid lifts to reveal a rosewood interior with a mirror and very good chased ormolu hinges and lock plate. The drawer below with conforming cross banding and ormolu escutcheon. The whole supported on bold cabriole legs and fine ormolu mounts. Size:- Height...28''/ 71cm. Width...19.25''/ 49cm. Depth...15''/ 38cm. Delivery to most of U.K. £45.
