Early 19th century unusual and original rectangular tilt top table having the original iron catch, and standing on tripod feet.

The tilt top is solid oak, and stands on a beautifully carved elm pedestal base, with lovely shaped tripod feet.

The colour, patina and grain are very good.

Size-23.25 inches wide by 26.75 inches long by 29 inches high. When tilted up, the table is 42 inches high overall.

This is a wonderful and useful table for occasional use, dining, games, tea or wine.

In very good condition, and ready to use.

Serpentine Antiques has dated this piece to the 1800s.
