Description

An attractive and original 18th century Chippendale period solid mahogany KETTLE STAND or SIDE TABLE in lovely condition.

The well-figured hexagonal top features a fretwork gallery to all sides and is supported on a well-turned 'gun-barrel' column, leading to pretty cabriole legs, "lappet" carved to the knees and pointed pad feet. Good warm colour and excellent original condition. 23.5ins high, the top 9.5ins wide. (60cms high; 24 cms wide)
