An attractive Georgian general-purpose mahogany side table. The overhanging top sits above a single frieze drawer – retaining its original solid brass swan-neck handles – with four square-section tapering legs. The untouched well-figured timbers have their original finish with a particularly rich, mellow glowing lustre shine and a deep patination. This exceptionally useful table is English, and it dates from c.1800.
