This sits above two oak lined hinged drawers with brass handles and key escutcheon with beautifully figured fronts and banded edges. Beneath lies a stylish fretwork carved frieze and stands elegantly on four tapering legs with spade feet and is full of the charm and character that you would expect to find from a true antique. The walnut has aged to a warm rich shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
