Fine Quality Victorian Mahogany Antique Writing Table

Dating from around 1860 this Fine Quality Victorian Mahogany Antique writing Table comes with the original maker’s brass plaque, W. H. Travers – Long Acre W.C. It has a raised up-stand above a beautifully figured top and two mahogany lined drawers with cockbeaded edges and original turned handles. It stands on four beautifully turned legs with quality brass cup castors and has aged to a warm rich shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.

Height: 81 cm / 32 inches

Width: 115 cm / 45 inches

Depth : 55 cm / 21.5 inches
