A fine pair of gilt bijouterie tables. The pair are in the Georgian manner with turned and tapered legs and cushion moulded sides. The whole is decorated in gilt gesso work which has a great faded tone. The pair are in excellent order and retain the original hinges and locks. The lining may have been replaced but is in keeping with the whole. The cabinets have two working keys and locks. The decoration continues all the way around making them ideal to free stand. This pair have the real look of the fine stately home and would look stunning with a collection of fine antiques inside, and it is so unusual to find a pair. C.1920
