18th Cent Style Oak Gate Leg Table

Description

Here we have a very impressive oak gate leg table in the early 18th Cent style. It is a very large size to comfortably seat 8-10 people. It is of traditional construction using pegged mortise and tenon joints. and has been skillfully distressed to look just like an early 18th Cent original.

The centre section stands on four baluster turned legs and the flaps are supported an additional leg attached to a hinged gate. When open it is very stable.

To give a better idea of size it is pictured with 8 high backed Windsor chairs not included.

The maximum dimensions are:

183cm(72“) wide open, 61cm(24“) closed

74cm(29“) high

152cm(60“) deep
