Large Edwardian Figured Mahogany D End Extending Dining Table

This Large Figured Mahogany D End Extending Dining table dates from around 1900 in the Edwardian period. This stunning table has a beautifully figured solid mahogany top with reeded edge and a central removable leaf with brass D clips to hold in place. It stands on beautiful turned pedestals with tripod splayed legs and brass castors and would comfortably seat eight to ten dinner guests. The mahogany has aged to a warm rich shade with a striking grain, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
