George III Sheraton Mahogany Pier Table

Description

George III Sheraton mahogany pier table, the well figured 'D' shaped top of break front form, with double cross banding of kingwood and tulipwood. The edge crossbanded in satinwood with ebony stringing; the frieze with stepped sides and crossbanding; raised on square tapering legs headed with satinwood panels and boxwood stringing; the satinwood panels repeated at the base of all four legs, also with kingwood crossbanded collars.
