Mid 19th Century Anglo Indian Hardwood Centre Table

A mid 19th century Anglo Indian hardwood centre table of circular form, possibly from the Bombay region.

This table consists of a circular hardwood top with a carved edge leading down to a carved and pierced frieze of grapes and vine leaves.

This leads down to the profusely carved and pierced tri-form base consisting of a turned and carved central column with carved cascading foliate decoration with lions to the base.

Below this is further foliate carving with scrolling acanthus legs and terminates with turned feet.

This table is in good original condition, is of stable construction and can go straight into a home.
