George III Serpentine Mahogany Tea Table

Description

A good George III serpentine mahogany tea table; in the Hepplewhite manner, the well figured shaped top with a moulded edge, folding over to reveal its extremely well figured mahogany interior, above a serpentine figured frieze with a cockbeaded edge and a central drawer having an oak lining and retaining its original brass swan neck handle. Raised on unusual reeded square tapering legs. Excellent colour and patina.
