George III Pair of Satinwood Tables, Urn Stands

19th century
Description

An elegant George III matched pair of satinwood urn stands; the figured oval tops with ebony and boxwood stringing crossbanded in tulipwood, surrounded by gilded brass bead and foliate design moulding, above a shallow swept apron raised on square tapering legs with ebonised corners headed with inlaid amaranth panels. Terminating in brass square cap casters.

Note: Although not an exact pair, they only have very minor differences.

English circa 1790
