An Impressive Pair of Painted Demilune Tables

Description

An impressive PAIR of Georgian mahogany demilune tables. Old but later paint of mixed grey hues perfect for todays tastes. These tables would be perfect in a large room either side of a window or chimney breast. Unusual triangular form understructure with square section legs all champhered on the backs. The fourth central leg slides out to support a leaf between the two tables (now lacking) when they were used for dining. The two tables fit together to form a very stable circular centre table if desired.

Each table is 116 cms wide by maximum 57.5 cms deep and stand 69 cms high.

As a centre table they form a table 116 in diameter by 69 high.
