Attributed to Waring and Gillows, This Beautifully Figured Walnut Pedestal Antique Dining Table circa, 1920 has been constructed from beautifully figured walnut with crossbanded edge, and comprises of two D ends and a central removable leaf. This is held in place by using brass clips and additional later clips for that added stability.
It would comfortably seat six to eight dinner guests and splits into three sections for easy removal. The walnut has aged to a golden shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
