A George III Mahogany Dish Top Tripod Table

Description

This very original table stands on pad feet and cabriole legs with a baluster turned column which in turn supports a "bird cage" block. The dish top is of one piece of mahogany and retains a lovely mellow colour. The table has its original block, bearers and clip, the wedge (that holds the top to the base) is a later replacement. In very good condition. 560mm diameter and 685mm high. Circa 1760.
