William Trotter Regency Rosewood Card Table. C. 1820

Description

Very nice Regency Scottish rosewood card table very much in the manner of William Trotter of Edinburgh. Made from beautifully grained rosewood veneer through out with typical quarter turned bead decoration to both the base and top sections.

Plain round turned column with carved section to the bottom, shaped platform base with very detailed crisp carved lion paw feet and original castors.

The top opens and swivels round as a card table with green baized centre.

The table is in very good condition except for a slight filled opening of the centre joint of the top.

SIZE; 36" wide by 18" deep by 30" high
