Spectacular Regency Figured Mahogany Antique Pedestal Dining Table

This Spectacular Regency Figured Mahogany Antique Pedestal Dining Table is a splendid marriage and dates from around 1830, with two D ends and a central removable leaf, held in place with brass D clips. The top is cross banded and has boxwood string inlay and spectacularly figured. This fantastic piece stands elegantly on turned pedestals with tripod splayed legs and brass lion paw castors and would comfortably seat eight dinner guests. The mahogany has aged to a rich shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
