Striking Figured Rosewood Victorian Inlaid Antique Occasional Table

This Striking Figured Rosewood Victorian Inlaid Antique Occasional / Corner / Clover Table dates from around 1890, with Arts And Crafts Influences and of spectacular quality. The top is unique due to the fact it comprises of three drop leaves, all beautifully inlaid with moulded ebonized edges. It would fit beautifully into a corner or if desired to open out to reveal a lovely shaped table. The lower tier has a stunning pierced carved fretwork gallery and stands on three spiral twist upright supports with splayed legs and brass castors with black porcelain wheels. The rosewood has aged to a rich shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
