Shaun King Antiques has dated this Antique Stoneware Wine Cooler to the 1800s.
The tub has classical sprig relief decoration to both sides.

The condition is good with some minor chips to the footrim. There is no restoration. There would originally have been metal handles fixed through the purpose-made apertures at either end.

A similar Wine Bottle Cooler, made by TURNER and an exhibit in Liverpool Museum, is illustrated in Diana Edwards & Rodney Hampson's ENGLISH DRY-BODIED STONEWARE 1774-1830 Page 188.
