Georgian Antiques has dated this piece to the 1800s.
The drawers are ash lined, a common feature of Scottish furniture. There is banding on the sides of ebony and boxwood. The table stands on turned, fluted and tapering legs finishing on stylised paw feet. Great colour and patination. (Alterations).
