Description

An Edwardian fine quality mahogany centre table.

This table consists of a shaped top with finely figured segmented curl veneers.

The outer edge of the top has a chequered stringing with a mahogany banding leading to a moulded edge.

This follows down to a sophisticated shaped frieze consisting of mahogany with boxwood stringing and a banding of thuya wood.

Around the frieze and at the top of each leg is a panel of mahogany and boxwood stringing leading down to the fine quality fluted and tapered legs terminating with a swept foot.

The legs are supported by a shaped and inlaid stretcher with central urn style support.

This table is in very good condition, is of stable construction and can go straight into a home.
