Georgian early 19th Century inlaid mahogany folding card, tea or console table. Would also make a nice writing table since it has a drawer.

This is a lovely table, that is full of age, charm and character. The green baize is in very good condition.

Solid, with no loose joints and a solid mahogany top.

Very attractive ebony line inlays. A rare drawer (very unusual on a card table) that slides freely with great ormolu handles. Period brass and ceramic castors (a little wear as one would expect).

Lovely proportions.

Overall maximum dimensions: 104cm wide, 92cm deep (46cm closed), 73cm high (75cm high when closed).

There are some historic woodworm holes, believed extinct, that we have treated for good measure.

As with all genuine antique furniture, you can expect to see some historic knocks, marks, wear, imperfections, cracks, scratches, repairs and/or alterations.
