Edwardian Walnut Antique Selbat Extending Dining Table

Constructed from the finest quality walnut and built by the renowned cabinet makers Selbat, this wonderful Extending Dining Table dates from around 1900 in the Edwardian period. Consisting of two central removable leaves, wind out mechanism and winding handle, this super table could quite easily accommodate 8 to 10 guests when fully extended. It stands on four elegant cabriole legs with pad feet and castors and has small elegant carved edges. The walnut has aged to a warm shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
