Quality Edwardian Walnut Antique Extending Dining Table.

This stunning Edwardian walnut antique extending dining table, circa 1900, oozes quality. It has a winding mechanism, winding handle and two central leaves making it very versatile. The top has a moulded edge with beautiful cross banding above a shaped frieze with elegant shell carved ends. It stands on beautifully scrolled cabriole legs with pad feet and is in the Queen Anne design. This particular antique dining table is full of charm and character, is a warm, light walnut with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
