Quality Edwardian Solid Mahogany Antique Extending Dining Table

This Quality Edwardian Solid Mahogany Antique Extending Dining Table circa, 1900 consists of two central removable leaves , winding handle and wind out mechanism. The top is constructed from solid mahogany with a moulded edge and stands on four tapering legs with spade feet and brass with brown porcelain castors. The legs are impressively crossbanded in satinwood with a boxwood and ebony string inlay and would comfortably seat six to eight dinner guests. The mahogany has aged to a rich warm shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
