It was listed by The Antique Furniture Company. Sold pieces stay on Sellingantiques as a record of what has passed through, and the next one is rarely far away.
The Antique Furniture Company has dated this piece to the Victorian era.
The underside of the table is stamped ‘Wylie & Lochead, 45 Buchanan Street, Glasgow’ with the number 30677.
In a lovely golden colour this table is in very good condition and has also been finished on the back so it can be used free standing rather than just as a side table. It has been recently and sympathetically repolished. There is a drying split to the drawer base but it is still strong.
