Unusual Victorian Figured Rosewood Antique Sofa Table

This Unusual Victorian Figured Rosewood Antique Sofa Table circa, 1900 has a beautifully figured top with two drop leaves and spectacular sunburst central inlay with boxwood string inlay around the edges. This elegant table has a mahogany lined frieze drawer with the original pierced brass handles and spectacular sunburst inlaid sections. This unusual table stands on four tapering legs with brown porcelain castors and the lower section has a lower tier. The rosewood has aged to a rich shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
