Carse Antiques has dated this piece to the 1800s.

The table has two drawers in one side which are lined in birch with oak bottoms. The lopers to hold the top up come out at the edge so form part of the frieze when the table is fully opened.
All the original gilded ormulu mounts and mouldings are present and there are no splits to the top. The table stands very elegantly and although it has been re-polished at some time in the last 20 years it has been well done and retains a lovely mellow colour.
SIZES; Top when fully opened is 58" wide by 25" deep. When closed the table is 37" wide. It stands 28" high.
