Rare George III Solid Yew-wood Occasional Table

Description

SUPERB & RARE George III solid yew-wood occasional table. Wonderful sophisticated piece of yew-wood furniture. The beautiful grained top with thumb moulding around the edge.

Nice design base with pierced trestle ends, large turned patera and scroll shaped feet with original castors. The drawer with original wooden handles, lock and original lift out writing tray.

The piece is finished all round and retains a superb colour and patination only achieved from years of waxing.

One of the nicest pieces of Georgian yew-wood furniture I've seen for some time.
