Elegant Inlaid Figured Rosewood Antique Victorian Double Sutherland Table

This Unusual Elegant Inlaid Figured Rosewood Antique Victorian Double Sutherland Table circa, 1890. has been constructed from beautifully figured rosewood with elegant inlaid sections. Each drop leaf has a moulded edge with canted corners with boxwood string inlay around the edges and beautifully turned upright supports. This stunning table has beautiful inlaid centres with a leaf design and has swinging gate legs with delicate brown porcelain castors and is in immaculate condition. The rosewood has aged to a rich shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
