With a lovely original patina, this antique Georgian oak gateleg table has a typical design that has survived through the ages. A small but significant bonus is the attractively shaped apron to the ends, which is quite unusual. The table itself is very sound and relatively untouched aside from later hinges to the the leaves and two strengthening bars to the underside of the leaves(both completely out of sight). This piece should be considered to be in well above average condition still retaining it''s character. A good sign of it''s previous ownership is the protective cover that has been made to fit the top when opened out.
