Desk Board Room Library Table Victorian Mahogany Moore and Hunton 12 Feet C1880

Here we have a stunning fine quality Victorian Mahogany board room or library table desk by Moore and Hunton London c1880. As you can see the table is rich in colour and patina. The table base splits in half for ease of moving and the centre two legs are also detatchable. This fine quality 12 feet long table retains the original gilded and tooled leather to the top. The deep feize is crossbanded in Mahogany with a bevelled thumb moulded edge. Below there are fourteen numbered drawers each retaining their original brass handles and escutcheons. The drawers are all stamped Moore and Hunton, London a well respected cabinet makers. Of course all the drawers are Mahogany lined and have hand cut dovetail joints. The table is round cornered and the top of the legs replicates this. The legs are robust as you would expect, made from solid Mahogany and beautifully turned with original ceramic casters to the base. This breathtaking table has great proportions being 12 feet long 5 feet wide and 31 inches high. A fantastic table in great retail condition.
